Open Door honored as Community Partner of the Year

In August 2025, Open Door received the Muncie Area Career Center’s annual Community Partner of the Year award.

Career Center staff shared this description:

“Open Door has been a vital partner for the Muncie Area Career Center over the last several years. Open Door hosted student interns in our Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program - including a new program this year for adult learners - as well as in our Dental Careers program. Open Door partners also support our students by serving on Advisory Boards and assisting with mock interviews. They are fantastic, forward-looking partners for the MACC!”
