Kathryn Feeney, FNP-C

Kathy earned her master’s degree in nursing from Ball State University and is certified by OutCare Health, an LGBTQ+ health equity organization. She has experience as a nurse in the mother, baby, and forensic units at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Kathy is a member of the Muncie Queer Alliance and is very involved in the community. She loves Thai food, spending time with her son, traveling, reading, and doing crossword puzzles.
“Having grown up in a low-income, blue-collar home, I am intimately familiar with roadblocks to accessing health care. As an adult, I became aware of the lack of providers who are culturally competent in treating LGBTQ+ patients. I chose Open Door because it’s an opportunity to be the provider I needed in my life.”
