A Muncie native, Kat earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Taylor University and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Ball State University. She has special interests in adult trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder. She chose Open Door because she believes in the organization’s vision for change in the community. In her free time, Kat enjoys reading, hiking, Lord of the Rings, and cheese of all kinds.
