Misty is a nurse practitioner with special training in psychiatric mental health. She earned her nurse practitioner credentials from Purdue University. Misty has experience as a global RN, travel nurse, and float nurse. She has a passion for mental health and breaking down the stigma that surrounds it.
After being a patient at Open Door herself, Misty is looking forward to being part of the change that Open Door represents in the community. She enjoys being part of a patient’s journey to be the best version of themselves.
In her free time, Misty enjoys spending time with her family and yorkie, Leo. She also enjoys camping and taking on “one too many home projects.”
