Jared is a nurse practitioner that earned his nursing degrees from Ball State University. As a lifelong Muncie resident, he enjoys caring for people in his community.
Before joining Open Door, Jared spent 12 years caring for hospital patients and later taught nursing students at Ball State. He is an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified provider, which focuses on responding to serious heart and breathing emergencies. His interests include heart health, diabetes, and orthopedics.
Jared takes his time to listen and make sure that his patients feel heard and involved in their care plans. He believes that working together to make healthcare decisions helps patients feel supported with their care.
In his free time, Jared enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, lifting weights, reading, watching movies, and traveling.
