Diana Harris, FNP-BC

Diana Harris, Family Nurse Practitioner, provides primary care at Open Door's downtown health center. Diana's nursing career spans over 30 years, with experience in long-term, acute, and geriatric care in addition to being a stroke certified registered nurse. Diana also provided education, teaching CNA classes, presenting at conferences, and publishing articles. Diana went back to school to earn her master's degree in nursing from Purdue Global in the fall of 2024 to continue to make a meaningful impact on her patients and the community.
Diana believes that partnership is the foundation of improving health with her patients. "I want to develop relationships so we can talk about health goals and how we can get there...together," she says.
Outside of work, Diana can be found spending time with family and riding her motorcycle. While she may have 15 people in her immediate family, everyone knows the boss in her family has four legs—their English Shepherd.
