Chris Guion, LMHC

Chris holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and philosophy and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. His areas of specialization include trauma, gender identity, and sexuality. While earning his master's degree, Chris interned as a chaplain at Ball Memorial Hospital, providing grief counseling immediately following traumatic experiences. Why does he choose to practice at Open Door? Chris is a strong advocate for integrated care, where patients have easy access to both medical and behavioral health services in one location. Outside of his Open Door role, you can find Chris serving as a referee for the Cornfed Derby Dames, Muncie's roller derby team.
