BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
Amber is a behavioral health provider at Open Door’s White River location. As a lifelong Muncie resident, she loves helping people in her community.
Amber earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Ball State University and her master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She spent time as a school counselor and cared for local veterans, seniors, and children and adults with disabilities. Amber specializes in helping children and families work through grief and trauma.
Amber wants every patient to feel safe, heard, and supported. She believes in meeting people where they are in life. Rather than telling patients what to do, she walks with them as they learn healthy coping tools, heal, and grow.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys being outdoors, camping, reading, and spending time with her family and her two dogs, Nina and Custode.
