Open Door Health Services Was Thrilled By The 2015 Back 2 School Fun Fest

August, 1 2015 – Muncie, IN – Open Door Health Services hosted their fourth annual Back 2 SchoolFun Fest on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 1-4pm at 333 S. Madison Street in Muncie and the turnout was great.

Back 2 School Fun Fest is open to the public and offers school and sports physicals and immunizationsfor little to no cost. This year Open Door provided 139 physicals and immunizations to 62 children. Kids of all ages enjoyed free games, refreshments, and a visit from the Pacers’ mascot Boomer. There were750 estimated in attendance, which is highest number Open Door has seen for the Back 2 School Fun Festto date. They also gave away 550 free backpacks filled with school supplies. The event was a success and a great encouragement for the beginning of the school year.“

The Back 2 School Fun Fest is always such a great event and we were very pleased by the turn out this year,” says Open Door Health Services CEO, Toni Estep, “we are thankful for the opportunity to help the community, especially during the busy back to school season.”
