Max Rudicel, MD

PRENATAL CARE
Dr. Rudicel joined Open Door in 1998 and became Chief Medical Officer in 2017. His career in Muncie has included obstetric, family practice, and emergency care. He has delivered nearly 8,000 Muncie babies! He also served as medical director for Head Start and Muncie Community Schools.
For his contributions to the community, the City of Muncie awarded Dr. Rudicel a key to the city and established October 28 as Max Rudicel Day. He and his wife have been married for more than 50 years and share three grandchildren. He enjoys reading, Disney, and movies with happy endings.
