WIC

The Delaware County WIC (Women, Infant and Children’s) Program helps families start strong and stay that way by providing checks you can use to get nutritious foods for free.

The checks provided by WIC can be used at local grocery stores for:

• cereal
• juice
• milk
• cheese
• eggs
• peanut butter
• formula
• fruits
• vegetables and
• whole grains. 

Pregnant women, new moms, breastfeeding moms, infants, and children under the age of five are eligible for WIC as long as the family lives in Indiana and meets the income guidelines.

Other services provided by WIC include nutrition counseling and breastfeeding support.

The Delaware County WIC office is located at 333 S. Madison St., Muncie.
