Today is the 17th Annual National HIV Testing Day! National HIV Testing Day was established because of the increasing number of HIV infections . According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 21% of the one million Americans living with HIV are unaware of their HIV status.
The National Association of People With Aids organized this day to advocate that people at risk should take the test and take control.
You owe it to yourself and the ones you love to get tested and be protected! If you would like to get tested for HIV, visit one of Open Door Health Services' five Family Planning locations in East Central Indiana.
