This position will perform a variety of patient care activities to provide clinical support and assistance to the nurse practitioner. Assists in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.

Greets patients/guests and oversees the flow of patient traffic in the waiting room areas. Must work closely with staff members to ensure flow and accuracy of information meets their needs.

This position will offer support and coaching of positive, healthy behaviors to women enrolled in the WeCare Indiana Program. These healthy behaviors include smoking and alcohol cessations, appropriate weight gain and nutrition, improved mental health, breastfeeding and safe sleep practices for babies. Women who will be enrolled include expectant mothers, women who have delivered a baby in the last 6 months, women who may become pregnant and women who are in between pregnancies.

 

This position serves as a Competent Professional Authority (CPA), and is responsible for developing and providing the Nutrition Education Program as well as nutrition counseling.

Provides primary care to patients, acting as a physician in the clinic following established standards, practices, and protocols.

Provides clinical support and assistance to the provider. Assists in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.  Provides accurate and effective interpretation of procedures and other interactions for non-English speaking patients, their families, and staff (in person or on the telephone).

This position will perform a variety of patient care activities to provide clinical support and assistance to physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical staff. Assists in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management. Responsible for operating X-ray equipment for assisting providers with diagnosing and/or treating disease/injury.

In collaboration with an obstetrician, provides primary obstetrical/gynecological health care, including prenatal care, postpartum care, gynecological care and family planning within the scope of training and in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocol.

Provides pediatric care to children by acting as a physician in the clinic, following established standards, practices, and protocols.

Under the direction of the supervising psychologist, plans organizes, and implements behavioral health services to patients and families.

Will lead and manage daily operations in a variety of patient care activities to ensure clinical support and assistance.

Answers and directs calls, schedules and confirms patient appointment.  Must speak Spanish and English fluently.

Oversees operations and staff and assists WIC Coordinator.  Serves as a Competent Professional Authority (CPA), certifying applicants.  Must be a qualified nutritionist to perform nutrition counseling with program participants.
