This position will perform a variety of patient care activities to provide clinical support and assistance to the nurse practitioner. Assists in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.

Greets patients/guests and oversees the flow of patient traffic in the waiting room areas. Must work closely with staff members to ensure flow and accuracy of information meets their needs.

This full- or part-time position is responsible for overall medical services for the health center, including all providers and all clinical staff.

This position provides for optimal patient health outcomes by ensuring clinical competencies of non-provider clinical staff and success of clinical quality efforts.  Works closely with the Chief Medical Officer to monitor provider clinical compliance and assists providers and others with their working knowledge of electronic health records.

This position serves as a Competent Professional Authority (CPA), and is responsible for developing and providing the Nutrition Education Program as well as nutrition counseling.

Provides primary care to patients, acting as a physician in the clinic following established standards, practices, and protocols.

Provides clinical support and assistance to the provider. Assists in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.  Provides accurate and effective interpretation of procedures and other interactions for non-English speaking patients, their families, and staff (in person or on the telephone).

Provides clinical support and assistance to physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical staff.  Assists in the delivery of family medicine, obstetrics, and pediatrics, including patient care management.

Assists in coordination of the enrollment and outreach programs.  Assists in coordination of all activities and enrollments for Hoosier Healthwise, Healthy Indiana Plan, Medicare Part D, SNAP, TANF, Medicaid Disability Assistance Program and federal/state marketplace exchange applications.  Maintain that all clients receive information about possible assistance programs that can optimize billing for the health center.  Assists in planning and organizing patient and community outreach activities and coordinate implementation of such activities.

In collaboration with an obstetrician, provides primary obstetrical/gynecological healthcare, including prenatal care, postpartum care, gynecological care and family planning within the scope of training and in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocol.

 

Provides primary care to patients acting as physician extender in the urgent care clinic following established standards, practices, and protocols.

Provides pediatric care to children by acting as a physician in the clinic, following established standards, practices, and protocols. 

Under the direction of the supervising psychologist, plans organizes, and implements behavioral health services to patients and families.

This position assists with all phases of employee wellness, the wellness committee, day to day operations, general office work, and other related projects.
